It feels like there was no way for him to respond without seeming like defending either himself or Obama, which would have caused a reaction he would have had to address, feeding yet another news cycle on &quot;domestic terrorism&quot; as if Obama was associated.

He knew to think &quot;I&#039;m damned if I do and damned if I don&#039;t, but, most damned if I do -  even if EVERYONE chooses to portray me as more damned than I would ever have imagined.&quot;</description>
